With the NHL taking a two-week break and releasing its players to their National teams, it was Canada's greatest hope for Olympic Hockey Gold since their 1952 championship, 36 years in the past. Despite putting together a star-studded roster of superstars, they could not overcome Dominik Hasek's semi-final mastery, and Canada would have to wait another four years for Olympic redemption.

This spectacular, rare poster features the multiple-Stanley Cup-winning goalie Martin Brodeur displaying fine form during one of his appearances for Team Canada. While the 1998 team returned home without a medal, Brodeur's performance was perhaps the deciding factor in Canada's Gold Medal victory at Salt Lake City in 2002, and in the World Cup of Hockey in 2004.
